Finally, this friend of mine, who was single for a long long time got married on 30th Oct 2010. She got to know him on the internet and he is an Egyptian. He has got good looks and she fell for him. However, he is so much younger than her (his age has been kept a secret).
Hopefully, he is able to settle down in Singapore with their marriage and hopefully he will be able to get a decent job here.
I thought I was one of her good friends but only now I realised that this is not true. She did not invite me for her nikah which she told me was a family affair. She told me that I will be invited for her wedding reception in January 2011.
May God bless them with unconditional love and happiness now and forever. This is the begining of my journey in life where I attend weddings of my friends and relatives.
